New single from debut album
Following the launch of their debut album ‘Tabula Rasa’ in September, Chase The Day have just released their new single ‘Damage Done‘ , you can check out the video for the track below.
James Kirsch (vocals & guitar) explains the meaning behind Damage Done, highlighting a situation we’ve all experienced at one time or another:
“Damage Done is about the pointless ending of friendships where pride gets in the way and each party is simply too stupid and stubborn to man up. In the end, everyone loses out.”
Damage Done is the third single from Tabula Rasa and demonstrates the versatile sound that Chase The Day produces. Giving a celebratory hat-tip to the grunge era of the late 90’s, Chase The Day excel in delivering everything a song should be with an extra slice of realism. These are songs you can connect with, which is the attitude that made grunge movement of the 90’s what it was. In the face of an industry that manufactures the shiny chart toppers, bands like Chase The Day offer the antidote with their gritty honest tracks.
