Dead at 27 have just released their new single Envy and are set to end the year on a high, with live dates and another single release to follow shortly.
Dead at 27 are a heavy/alternative rock 4-piece from Caerphilly, South Wales and were formed in October 2016 by front man Nathan Gratton-Smith and bassist Mitch Casey.
A two-man project quickly proceeded to become a trio when drummer Chris Lerwell joined the line-up, and their first EP was produced in Spring 2017.
That same summer, Dave Griffiths joined the band to complete the line-up and the sound transformed from raw honest rock, to a behemoth that cannot be tamed.
In the two short years the band has been together, it has been said that ‘they have earned themselves a reputation at gigs as being loud enough to wake the dead’ (the same has been said for their debut album)!
As the band’s new merciless sound began to take shape, plans were quickly put together to get recording. Although the initial plan was to record a second EP, things had gone so well in the recording studio (Freehouse Studios, Bristol, with Producer Sam Dyson) that the band had to go back for more!
Dead at 27 have enjoyed great responses from their performances across the UK, and have had excellent reactions from their music videos across the globe.
Their single ENVY has been played on over 100 radio stations over the UK, including Kerrang! Radio, BBC Radio Wales, Total Rock Radio and Hard Rock Hell Radio.
The band continue to go to great lengths to share their music to as many people as possible and continue to ride this unforgiving wave of heavy rock.
