Canadian hardcore heroes COMEBACK KID are thrilled to announce their new album Chosen Hell. It arrives November 6 via SharpTone Records and via Dine Alone Records in Canada. Pre-order it here.

Chosen Hell, the band’s eighth and latest LP, further distills the potency of the musical elements that have defined CBK since the beginning while once again evolving their creative spectrum, weaving in influences of blazing modern metal, piss-and-vinegar punk, and even vulnerable melodicism that adds compelling contrast to their longstanding and beloved sonic foundation.

Today, the band has shared the video for the title track. It pairs deeply introspective lyricism atop a punishing aural arsenal.

Watch it here.

“The theme of the title track ‘Chosen Hell’ on our new album touches on morality and ethics,” explains singer Andrew Neufeld“Something as simple as right or wrong. Good or evil. Healthy or unhealthy, and our ability to make a choice. Often, we are incapable of choosing the right thing, and we find ourselves in situations that we know hold us back, therefore affecting our own well being. The outcome is what we make of it.”

Additionally, the album cover design is an actual structure built by Callum Preston in Melbourne, Australia.
