Frost release new song
Frost* are set to release their long-awaited new album ‘Falling Satellites’ on the 27th May 2016, and they are extremely pleased to launch a lyric video for ‘Heartstrings’. The track, which many fans will have already heard live, as well as on ‘The Rockfield Files’ DVD, appears on the album in a brand new form, and you can hear it here:
Band leader Jem Godfrey comments: “So finally the definitive version of a song that’s perhaps the oldest of the songs that were written for this album. It was also the first time I ever co-wrote with John Mitchell. It’s working title was ‘Tyrannosaurus Riff’.”
Jem is joined by guitarist & vocalist John Mitchell (Lonely Robot, It Bites), drummer Craig Blundell (Steven Wilson) & bassist Nathan King (Level 42). ‘Falling Satellites’ is the band’s first album in 8 years & the follow-up to the acclaimed ‘Experiments In Mass Appeal’. Comprising 11 songs, the final 6 forming a 32-minute long suite, ‘Falling Satellites’ also sees a guest appearance from Grammy-nominated guitar legend Joe Satriani who Godfrey played with on the G3 tour in 2012.
The album is now available to pre-order, and digital pre-orders from iTunes & Amazon will receive ‘Heartstrings’ immediately. Find out more at the links below:
