Country rapper Justin Champagne proudly releases his 3rd single in two months via his own imprint, Country Boy Livin’ Music. “When I Pull Up,” is the follow-up to viral sensations “Number to Heaven” and “Swervin””. By combining a variety of different sounds together, and marrying country melodies with straight-up rap, Justin has created something new: a boundary-breaking genre that showcases not only the depth of his influences, but his versatility as a songwriter, storyteller, vocalist, and rapper. The New Iberia, Louisiana native simply writes songs about what he knows; big trucks, back roads and parties in the woods.
On Sunday, October 23rd, Tik Tok influencer 420Doggface208 (the man behind the Tik Tok that recently catapulted Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” back into Billboard’s Top 5,) will be posting his own on “When I Pull Up” Tik Tok The hotly anticipated video will premiere on Justin’s Youtube channel on Tuesday, October 27th. (see trailer below)
Champagne is no stranger to Tik Tok – over a three-day period earlier this week,”Number to Heaven“, which was released in late August, went from 22,000 to 70,000 views, resulting in a 600% spike of Spotify streams which landed it on the iTunes Country charts at #47. The video made it’s debut last month on CMT.com and has since had over 300,000 views.
in the case of “Swervin'”, Justin posted a Tik Tok teaser and challenged his followers with a dare, “When I reach 10,000 I’ll put the song out for real.” He was caught off guard when the clip hit 10,000 views in the first few hours. The ante was upped to 100,000 views which was easily reached a day later and the song was released
Needless to say, Justin is a huge fan of Tik Tok, “I feel it’s easier to connect and get real feedback from my fans, just real people reacting and sharing, I find this connection inspiring.”
