GRAMMY, ACM and CMA award-winning country duo Brothers Osborne announce their fifth studio album, Watertown, out October 23rd via MCA / Snakefarm in the UK. Pre-order / pre-add / pre-save HERE.
Named in reference to, and in reverence of, their hometown – the US coastal, blue-collar town of Deale, MD (Population: 5,333) – Watertown is anchored in the sound and spirit of Brothers Osborne‘s beginnings.
Watertown finds the Brothers at their most introspective and vulnerable. Across the album’s 11 tracks, the Platinum-certified duo open up, steeping the record in their own personal explorations of family in all of its forms – love and loss, life’s many stages and changes, and more.
“We’re not just getting back to where we were born and raised, but to the roots of where we started musically,” TJ Osborne shares. “A time when music wasn’t dictated by anything other than what our hearts and souls wanted to say.”
Last week, John and TJ surprised a wall-to-wall crowd at local staple The Boathouse in Deale, MD, with a pop-up show, announcing the album for the first time and giving the fans who have been there from the beginning a live performance preview of Watertown. See photos from the pop-up show HERE.

Reuniting with long-time collaborator and producer Jay Joyce, Watertown brings a bevy of firsts to the Brothers’ catalogue, including their first-ever collaborations on a full-length project – album opener “Born and Raised Hell” featuring reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Cody Johnson, and “Tough Kid” featuring mould-breaking singer / songwriter Stephen Wilson Jr.
Watertown also introduces an innovative new approach to releasing a record. Leading into the full-length project in October, the Brothers will drop early alternate versions from Watertown as “SELLOUT EDITS” – cut down versions that cater to the modern listener. Fans who want to hear the full-length version of any pre-release track can find them by signing up for Brothers Osborne‘s fan club, The Family, for free via their website, inviting listeners old and new to dive deeper. From live show fanatics to vinyl heads to social media connoisseurs, Watertown has been built for anyone who wants to visit.
“Our SELLOUT EDITS are a result of understanding where we are in 2026. It’s our way of meeting the people where they are,” John Osborne explains. “Our hope is that these edits will drive people to the deeper story. If they want to meet us where we are, at our live shows, they will likely get even more than what’s available to them on the internet. Different strokes for different folks, and we welcome them all. It’s still us and our songs at the end of the day.”
“Songs aren’t static – they’re recorded one way, released another, played live yet another. All versions are valid, just like all interpretations are valid,” TJ adds. “We hope that meeting listeners where they are with these different formats opens up new avenues for our music to connect.”

In January, Brothers Osborne celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their debut album, Pawn Shop, an era-defining record that cemented the blood brothers’ “thumping country-rock with a decidedly blue-collar flavour” (Rolling Stone). Early release “R.I.P.,” dropped last month, references that sound, moored in their upbringing in Deale and bolstered by a live show experience that matches the record.
Following a hugely successful run of dates in the UK and Ireland in 2025, part of the ‘Might As Well Be Us’ World Tour, the Brothers will be returning here this December, having been handpicked to play with The Darkness on the ‘Bands Of Brothers Arena Tour 2026′; prior to these appearances, TJ, John and their regular touring line-up will be out on the road in the US, headlining shows and performing at festivals and fairs, as well as guesting with the Zac Brown Band on their ‘Love & Fear Tour’.
