Hard-hitting rock outfit Black Water Redemption are proud to announce the release of their latest single, “Ride Or Die”.
“Ride Or Die” came together quickly in the studio, with guitarist and songwriter Tyler and bandmate Dan aiming to create a track that would inject energy into the live set and get crowds moving from the very first note.
“Musically, this one came together really fast between myself and Dan,” says Tyler. “We wanted it to be one of those songs that instantly lifts the tempo of the set and gets people moving. The guitar solo is one of the most fun solos I’ve ever written. I was definitely channelling my inner Zakk Wylde on this track – Zakk Wylde from Temu, mind you!”
The song’s title and concept were developed by Adam, who envisioned a story centred around a fiercely loyal yet slightly unhinged relationship, drawing inspiration from the iconic outlaw spirit of Thelma & Louise.
“Adam came up with the title ‘Ride Or Die’ and the idea of it being about a relationship that’s a little bit crazy but completely loyal. It’s got that Thelma & Louise vibe where you’re all in, no matter what.”
Beyond the song’s lyrical themes, “Ride Or Die” also reflects the ethos of Black Water Redemption themselves. Tyler adds;
“Ride or Die is the mentality of this band. This is what we do. It’s all or nothing for us. We give everything to the music, and this song captures that attitude perfectly.”
Combining thunderous rhythms and a fearless rock ‘n’ roll attitude, “Ride Or Die” showcases Black Water Redemption at their most energetic and unapologetic.

Building on the foundations laid by previous incarnation of the band, Western Sand, while forging a heavier, more direct identity of their own, the band have embraced a fresh creative direction without losing the raw energy, honesty, and determination that earned them a following in the first place.
