With BST just around the corner, American Express presents BST Hyde Park are delighted to announce more special names for a legendary show this July. Joining headliner Billy Joel and incredible guest Daryl Hall is world-renowned pop singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield, plus Bowen*Young, Rumer, Remember Monday, Brad Heidi, Jon Muq, Sophia Alexa and Alyssa Bonagura.

One of the most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in history, Billy Joel will perform on the BST stage on Friday 7 July, with special guest Daryl Hall and more brilliant names announced today. Final tickets are available to purchase here.

International pop star and world-renowned songwriter Natasha Bedingfield joins the line-up this July. The GRAMMY and BRIT Award nominee had immediate success with the release of her 2004 debut album Unwritten, which included the No.1 single ‘These Words’. Other smash hits ‘Pocket of Sunshine’, ‘Unwritten’, ‘Single’ have also become pop song staples, making Bedingfield a multi-million selling artist and fan favourite all over the globe.

Also heading to Hyde Park this summer are new “Cinematic Americana” duo Bowen*Young. Clare Bowen, known for her role in hit 2012 show Nashville, and husband Brandon Robert Young have joined forces to create a timeless multi-sensory experience with their debut record, Dangerous Love.

Plus acclaimed British singer-songwriter Rumer. Her first album Seasons Of My Soul landed in the Top 3 of the UK Albums Charts in 2010, achieving Platinum sales status and garnered her a MOJO Award as well as two BRIT Award nominations. Rumer has gone on to forge an acclaimed career both as a highly regarded songwriter, penning global hits such as ‘Slow’ and ‘Aretha’.

More names announced today include UK country pop trio Remember Monday, Irish singer-songwriter Brad Heidi, expressive soulful pop artist Jon Muq, newcomer Sophia Alexa and Nashville native and multi instrumentalist Alyssa Bonagura.

They join previously announced Daryl Hall, an international musical treasure – he’s an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the star of his very own award-winning web series-turned-TV staple, Live from Daryl’s House. This special BST appearance will see Daryl Hall make his Hyde Park debut. He will perform his own headline show two days later with Daryl’s House Band, plus special guest Todd Rundgren at London’s Eventim Apollo on Sunday 9 July.

Elsewhere for Billy Joel, one of the most recognised concert films of all time, Live At Yankee Stadium, came to cinemas on Wednesday 5 & Sunday 9 October in celebration of 50 years of Billy Joel. Billy Joel is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time and the third best-selling solo artist, as well as one of the biggest concert draws in the world. Joel’s songs have acted as personal and cultural touchstones for millions of people across five decades.

Having sold 160 million records over the past quarter century, the hits have continued for almost five decades, scoring 33 consecutive Top 40s. Joel has received the RIAA’s Diamond Award twice for Greatest Hits Volume I & Volume II and The Stranger, presented for albums that have sold over 10 million copies. He is the recipient of 23 GRAMMY nominations and six GRAMMY Awards, including the prestigious Grammy Legend Award. Joel has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, and has received numerous awards including a TONY Award for ‘Movin’ Out’, The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, the once-in-a-century ASCAP Centennial Award. Additionally, he is a Kennedy Center honoree and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Billy Joel joins other huge headliners for 2023 including P!NK (24 + 25 June), Guns N’ Roses (30 June), Take That (1 July), BLACKPINK (2 July), Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (6 + 8 July) and Lana Del Rey (9 July).

BST Hyde Park’s hugely popular summer event Open House is back for another year, for eight days across 23 June – 5 July. Open House offers FREE access to BST Hyde Park and there’s truly something for everyone! Including All Things Orchestral onFriday 23 June, presented by Myleene Klass and featuring Alfie Boe, Chef’s Table at The House of Peroni Nastro Azzurro by Mob, Yoga in the Park powered by lululemon, Outdoor Cinema presented by British Airways Highlife Entertainment, and much more.

2022’s BST Hyde Park saw three monumental weekends of music; the Rocketman himself Elton John performed as a part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, The Rolling Stones were reunited with Hyde Park for two incredible sell out nights, with an emotional and triumphant tribute to the late Charlie Watts. London’s global star Adele brought it home for two shows with an incredible all female line up.  The Sunday vibes were offered up by Americana legends Eagles and Pearl Jam provided two packed nights of rock n roll. Finally, one of Britain’s best loved groups, Duran Duran,closed the final night with a day of singalong smash hits.
