Northern Festival takes shape
Beacons Metro is extremely excited to announce the full line-up of acts taking part. Beacons Metro is a brand new metropolitan festival taking over northern cities this Autumn.
After the announcement earlier in the year that sees the Beacons brand take a break away from the field of Skipton to the city, Beacons Metro will have a series of music, art and food events. Leeds will see events at, the soon to open Headrow House, Canal Mills, Wharf Chambers and Belgrave Music Hall, closing the 2015 festival season with a roaring 30+ events.
After a triumphant Leeds /Reading Festival performance over the weekend, the special guest headliners will be Everything Everything. Playing songs from their top ten album ‘Get To Heaven’. Everything Everything will bring a special intimate show to Canal Mills on October 17th.
Over 100 acts will take as part in Beacons with new line-up additions including Warp Records’ stalwart Clark, Willis Earl Beal will be supporting his new album ‘Noctunes’ and American darlings Waaves will be back in Leeds as part of Beacons. Black Honey, Spring King, Daniel Avery, Beaty Heart, Rejjie Snow, The Wytches, Dark Star, Ghost Culture, Kagoule, Bo Ningen, Boxed In lead the charge with a plethora of amazing local acts including Calls Landing, Actor, Best Friends, Galaxians, Goodbye Chanel andNai Harvest. Beacons Metro is a series of forward thinking ambitious music events, with many of Beacons Festivals past heroes returning to play the inaugural metro event. Full line-up below!
Beacons Metro has also revealed they are to offer a super limited run Season Pass. The ticket will get you access to every show as part of Beacons (including Manchester) and guaranteed entry on all free events. Priced at a hugely reasonable £60, these are on sale now and also include an exclusive early access to the opening of Headrow House (a previously unused gig space in the heart of Leeds City Centre that opens October 2nd) in Leeds.
