While uncertainty distills throughout the live-music industry and beyond, British rock outfit The Baskervilles are lacing up to strike with some much needed musical empowerment; their Spring 2020 release ‘Got Your Back’.
With over 100 thousand Spotify streams, 50 live shows, Reading and Leeds Festival performances, continued BBC support, and drive to rival even the strongest of contenders; Ipswich based Rock outfit The Baskervilles deliver a stinging synopsis of love, life and hypocrisy, set to a blend of raw energy and rolling thunder, taking influence from a melting pot of the likes of Yonaka, Bring Me The Horizon and Arctic Monkeys.
“Got Your Back is about love for your friends. As guys we get socialised differently, we don’t speak openly about the ones we care about and that’s often because we don’t know how. Some of that gets described as toxic masculinity, and while there’s truth in that, the flipside is those bonds still exist, they shine in our choices rather than our words, they are just as strong, and they can sometimes find the light of day in the most spectacular ways.” – James Betts, The Baskervilles
When the first opportunity arises, and the live-music industry returns to its powerful and influential state once again, ‘Got Your Back’ amongst other forthcoming planned releases will be taken to the live stage, but until then;
Watch, Stream, Share, Review and Feature ‘Got Your Back’ as of 17th April; 10:00am UK. Available to stream / download via Spotify, Apple Music and all other major outlets
