Frontiers Music is thrilled to announce the signing of Phantom Elite to a new multi-album deal!
The band is fronted by Brazilian singer Marina La Torraca (Exit Eden, Avantasia [live vocalist]) and features songwriting and production from the Dutch guitarist and producer Sander Gommans (ex- After Forever). The group is a perfect combination of symphonic, progressive and heavy metal.
Phantom Elite formed via Gommans’ HDK project. Upon releasing the 2014 album ‘Serenades Of The Netherworld’, he had brought together a group of young musicians with the intent of playing HDK songs in a live setting. The natural chemistry among these passionate musicians wound up sparking a wealth of new and exciting musical ideas and Phantom Elite was born.
“With the backbone of a sure-fire label and its decades of history making in the music business, we are proud to present the release of our next album in 2020,” say the band. “Impacting songs where modern meets symphonic and progressive, (very!) heavy riffs meet epic melodies, overloaded with a wide spectrum of emotions and love for music. For sure, this is a high note in our career!”
The group’s 2018 debut album ‘Wasteland’ and a well received European tour to promote it
showed that Phantom Elite is truly ready to take flight. Their second album is currently being worked on by La Torraca, Gommans, Max van Esch (guitars), and Joeri Warmerdam (drums) and is anticipated to be released sometime in 2020.
