Remember! Remember! Catalysts release their debut e.p on the 5th of November, and the sparks are set to fly!

Following a succession of single releases including the incredible Ultimate Warrior III, The Otherside, and the radio-slammers Sylvia and You Got No Soul, Newport’s Catalysts continue to deliver with their brand-new single SPARKS which will be released on 5th November as part of the e.p. of the same name.

For Fans of:

Funeral for a Friend, 30 Seconds to Mars, Enter Shikari and MUSIC!

On Sparks:

“Everything we do, premeditated or not, sets off this chain reaction of events. What may seem insignificant to yourself may be the spark that becomes a catalyst to ignite something, somewhere for you or someone else.” Elliot Blake

Sparks e.p track list:

  1. Sparks
  2. Ultimate Warrior III
  3. You Got No Soul
  4. The Otherside

Their songs begin with an idea but never ends the same way. It’s a continual process, with each member blending ideas and shaping the song toward the right direction. They go through several incarnations and the stories find their way through their innovative sound.

“You’re always a slave to the song. You don’t just try and squeeze a solo in, you push the boundaries until it all comes together. We adopt a fearless approach when it comes to exploring new sounds, creating the spark and energy that is Catalysts“.   They continue: “This is an excitingperiod;we’ve lovedbeing able to release the first six singles on our own terms which has given us the opportunity to reach as many people as possible. There is abuzzto get back into the studio withournewideas and new music, that we hope willpushthe band’s sound furtherthan ever before”.
