AvaGrace serve up an instantly gratifying explosive fusion of heavy alt- Rock, complete with delectable hooks and colossal riffs. The quintet have an original but hugely accessible sound which has racked up a range of favourable comparisons spanning from Sasoin and Underoath, to Dance Gavin Dance. AvaGrace unleash their debut album, The Witching Hours, on Friday 30th August. Prior to this, the band have just revealed a brand new single and video for the album’s namesake, The Witching Hours – , out now.

Hailing from across the South East of England, AvaGrace consist of Chris Horton (vocals), Ben Goodey (guitar and vocals), Craig Matthews (guitar and vocals), Will Evans (bass) and Ashlee Green (drums). The fivesome pour their heart and soul into their music, resulting in a punchy and powerful sound that is stocked with fiery riffage and epic sing-a-long choruses.

So far, the alt rockers have released two EPs, Letter To Home and Earth, Wind & Liars. Both records have greatly helped with AvaGrace’s trajectory and have helped them pick up widespread acclaim, most notably, from: Kerrang! Radio airplay, BBC Introducing coverage and TV play with Scuzz TV for the video, The Beauty Of Sleep. The rising tunesters have also supported everyone from Lower Than Atlantis, Black Peaks, Mallory Knox, Dream State, and The Faim, to Dance Gavin Dance.

The astute combo are poised to climb again with the release of their blistering new album, The Witching Hours, which lands this Summer. The record draws a prominent line in the sand, as it’s the band’s best work to date. The album was produced by Ian Sadler at Emeline Studios and mixed/mastered by Tim Kramer at Signal House Studios. The band comment: “We feel the album showcases our sound and represents our progression. The songs are basically snapshots of our lives in that moment, the things we were all going through at the time whether it be relationships issues, addiction, depression and anxiety, as-well as having moments of clarity and overcoming those obstacles.” AvaGrace plan to tour the album later in the year so stay tuned to their website for Summer festival appearances.
