What?
ALFAVRAK, the Swedish rock band with “the sound of a shopping trolley pushed through gravel and ice in the tired Scandinavian night” is putting out something resembling an album called Kass kontroll (…lousy control).
Why?
No reason.
Who?
By and for those who are slightly worse people.
What’s on the album?
Plain rock with a trolley in gravel and snow kind of edge.
This low key rock opera is a collection of randomly chosen singles
among them:
“12 steg” (…12 steps) selected as song of the week in Classic Rock Magazine.
“A Swedish language rocker that takes the taut, riff-hard rock of The Hives and adds a dose of brittle post-punk guitar. It all ends up sounding like a Bon Scott-era AC/DC engine welded to a Gang Of Four chassis”, Classic Rock Magazine
“Grisarnas Natt” (…Night of the Pigs)
“Energetic riffs that are then joined by powerhouse vocals and a supercharged drum arrangement. The song then proceeds to see Alfavrak unleash impressive and attention grabbing rock melodies”, Music Crowns
“Jag är Zen” (…I am Zen)
Beneath a layer of raw, dirty rock there´s a rollercoaster with a swinging ride, free to exploit however you like, but it’s also okay to sit still and dig relentlessly”, Freakmagnet
Will this album change the world?
Yeah.
