Three days and nights of indie, alternative and dance music by the sea. No tents, no mud, no trek back to a campsite — just live music, DJs and parties, with your own bed at the end of the night.
Shiiine On Weekender returns to Butlin’s Skegness from 19–21 March 2027, bringing together another huge celebration of indie, alternative, and dance music for three days and nights by the sea.
Returning for a third year in Skegness, the 2027 edition will see an epic Shiiine On debut from the one and only Babyshambles, headlining Saturday night. Joining them on the Saturday bill will be fellow debutants and Indie legends Gene, alongside Shiiine favourites Ned’s Atomic Dustbin.
Making their Skeggy debut, Cast will headline Friday night, with support from Black Grape and Jim Bob, while over in Reds, Reverend & The Makers, The Futureheads and The Rifles bring some serious 00s indie energy.
Sunday sees firm Shiiine favourites Ash return to headline, with Starsailor and Sleeper joining them for a huge final night.
Across the weekend there will be plenty more special live sets, including Buzzcocks, The Selecter, The Sultans of Ping, EMF, Puressence, The Dub Pistols, The Farm, Dubstar, Ozric Tentacles, Banco de Gaia, Senser, The Supernaturals, China Drum and many more.
And, as ever with Shiiine On, the live bands are only part of the weekend.
Tim Burgess will help bring the weekend to a close with a special Sunday night closing party alongside Star Shaped, whileShiiine On Acoustic Stage will see stripped back performances from The Bluetones and Chris Helme.
Shiiine On: Rave On gets even bigger for 2027 with a dedicated dance stage led by The Sabres of Paradise and The Orb.Bez will be hosting his own Day Party, joined by the legendary Steve Davis, with further sets from James Atkin and Kavus Torabi.
Following his lockout show at Minehead, the Comedy Stage will be led by Rob Newman, while Terry Christian brings his live show My Word! to Skegness.
And there’s still loads more to come, with club nights, pool parties, exhibitions, the Tonic Stage – with its line-up still to be announced – Alan Leach’s Indie Quiz and Bingo, sports bars, craft ales, street food and much, much more across the weekend.
Shiiine On has built a fiercely loyal following by bringing together some of the defining artists of the indie and alternative scenes in a weekend that combines the atmosphere of a music festival with the comfort of a proper break.
There are no tents, no muddy fields and no long trek back to a campsite. Instead, festival-goers get three nights of live music, DJs, parties and entertainment, all with accommodation on site.
