Italian blues-punks J.D. HANGOVER have unveiled a new video from their forthcoming debut EP, due in November.

‘Mr Williamson’ follows on from their debut single ‘Barrelhouse Queen’ and is taken from their self-titled 6-track EP, the first fruit of their deal with hip label Annibale Records, also responsible for releases by Dead Coast, The Shivas and The Abigails.
J.D. Hangover is a side project of Stiv Cantarelli and Roberto Villa of Stiv Cantarelli & The Silent Strangers –  Italy’s answer to The Gun Club – whose most recent album, Banks Of The Lea, received considerable praise on its release in 2014 when the bland played dates with Left Lane Cruiser.

This time around, their stripped-back drum machine-driven sound has seen them compared to “Suicide meets Lightnin’ Hopkins.”
Making their live debut supporting Alejandro Escovedo, the duo’s next major gig is as special guests to Boss Hog in Cesena, Italy on 8 November. They’re currently putting the finishing touches to a string of UK dates for next year.
Due for release on 17 November, J.D. Hangover is available to pre-order now on CD, cassette and download here.
