Dutch rockers announce new album details
On the 17th of June, Dutch rock hopefuls Shiverburn will release their debut album entitled ´Road To Somewhere´. The album is the expected and very necessary step up from their 2014 EP ´One Step Closer`. Maintaining their mainstream sound, with a mix of pop, rock and metal influences and inspired by personal experiences, Shiverburn created its own formula, which is most closely related to American-oriented (hard) rock.
Plenty of industry experts would be only too happy to tell the five-piece to cut their losses and quit while they’re ahead. With good reason, as the music business is notorious for crushing the hopes and dreams of those that dare, far more often than granting them. If success is based on tenacity as much as talent however, Shiverburn deserves added attention from the public and the media, considering the strength of a limited release independent EP, a lengthy European tour undertaken, where 17 stages in 11 different countries were hit, without the benefit of record company backing or even having a full length album to promote.
