Fast rising young Scots unleashed
Scottish rockers Mason Hill have announced the release of its debut EP, the self titled, “Mason Hill”.
The EP consists of four tracks, all written by the band. The guys reckon it is their “first opportunity to showcase its recorded work, a combination of hard driving riffs, haunting melodies and anthemic choruses.”
And they are pleased with the outcome saying: “each individual band member, is on top form with performances that have transferred seamlessly from our live performances to the studio environment.”
The EP was recorded at The Foundry Music Lab in Motherwell, working with award winning producer, Sandy Jones band the guys take us through each of its four songs.
Track 1 – Survive
A combination of hypnotic riff and melody, this is Mason Hill at its hard rockin’ best.

This was the band’s debut single, initially released last year, a track with power and melody that makes you want to sing along.
Track 4 – Where I Belong
An epic track of haunting melody, sung beautifully, a guitar solo that makes you want to press the repeat button and which climaxes with the full on power of Mason Hill at its best.
