“What’s in your soul” Stig finds out

21 grams is derived from the theory that when humans die the body’s net weight is reduced by 21 grams. At the Moment of dearth the soul leaves the body. 21 grams is the souls net weight.

The Freebird is a great setting for bands and 21 Grams looked at home. The five piece set arose with PHOENIX. A real upbeat dirty rock song with Simon Degg’s great blue riffs and the rough warm tones of Tim Edwards. The opener had a great vocal lift for the chorus and a classic stop smash ending, the stage was set. Straight into OUR TIME WILL COME and SLEEPING DOGS that came smashing through as the next two dirty rock blues tracks got the crowd rockin’ with great breakdowns. Their sound is reminiscent of those southern bars with mesh on the front of the stage and plenty of sour mash been drunk. The Freebird is a great setting for bands and 21 Grams looked at home. Sometimes you worry if the song is strong enough to be the bands name, but 21 GRAMS was an immense song to finish the set with. It left the crowd wanting more. A great performance and great material.
