Bad Blood is the second single from alternative rock musician Swan.
The song is reminiscent of the environment in which it was created. An off-grid caravan in North
QLD surrounded by crocs in the Whitsundays, It reminds the listener that despite danger and
risk, there is beauty and adventure to be had in love.
A song which addresses relationship breakdowns, Bad Blood is Swan’s effort to encourage us
to embrace the fear of our human pain. Dust ourselves off and get back out there to let love in
again.

Swan is the musical brainchild of Matt Swan, who was a founding member of rock phenomenon
Royal Blood. Swan has gone on to have his own, worldwide musical career, from Northern NSW
to Nashville and on to the streets of London, 2011 Royal Blood recorded ‘Come on over’ at
Rockfield Studios. The song was released on Triple J in 2012 under the title ‘Leaving’ after
which Swan returned to Australia and kept the good times rolling with his own musical
endeavors.
Swan has numerous performance accolades to add to his ongoing musical journey, including
Margot Robbie’s secret wedding in the Byron Bay hinterland with his 50’s pipeline jive rock and
roll band The Swamps. He has supported numerous national and international acts throughout
venues and festivals in Australia and abroad.
Swan released his debut single ‘Sweat Baby Sweat’ in 2019. The punchy rock and roll track
aired on Rage ABC TV and gained exposure through national radio airplay. The single was well
received and was added to the popular Netflix TV series Riverdale.
Let the good times roll, stay tuned for the adventure of SWAN.
