The Swedish band WOLF stands for traditional 80s inspired heavy metal in its purest form. With their upcoming 10th studio album, „Hour of the Wolf“, the cult band cements its importance and high standing within the metal scene.
Today, WOLF release their third new single & video clip for the track “Walpurgis Night“. It is a dark and true heavy metal anthem.

“After “Death Satellite” and “Waltz Post-Mortem”, “Walpurgis Night” explores yet another side of WOLF. This song has a dreamlike intro that bursts into heavy riffing and a big chorus that even your tonedeaf grandma can sing along to. Add to that lots of melodies and fast guitar leads – what more could a metal song ask for”, asks vocalist and guitar player Niklas Stålvind and continues: “Just like “Death Satellite” the video for “Walpurgis Night” was directed by the Cannes award winning Snovone “Sno” Drake, who took this one further and added more of everything. Like a great Swedish philosopher once said: More is more.”
