ASTRODOME will be doing their first European Tour in February 2017 in support of their self-titled album released by HeviSike Records and Ya Ya Yeah.
Astrodome are a 4 piece instrumental Heavy Psych band from Porto(PT) that plays long musical journeys and epic tales filled with fuzzy riffs, groovy beats and echoing chords. A trip to whom wants to lose in outer space.
They launched their first live recorded demo in 2014 with 3 tracks and no musical boundaries, exploring sounds from doom to heavy psychedelia.
2015 was the year of launch of their also live-recorded debut album with 3 re-recorded tracks from the previous demo and 3 new tracks, filled with groovy melodies as long as destructive and raw rhythms. Their album was released in Nov. 2015 in digital and edited in a limited edition cassette tape by the Portuguese independent label Ya Ya Yeah(sold out) and by Hevisike Records in May 2016 in a special vinyl edition.
They have performed tens of shows around Portugal and Spain including appearances at festivals such as SonicBlast Moledo(PT), Jardins Efémeros(PT) and Black Bass Évora Fest(PT), and they have supported a lot of heavy-psych-stoner bands such as Karma to Burn, The Atomic Bitchwax and Greenleaf.
