Vive La France!

There’s more to this Black Metal this. Meets the ….ear. So Sordide reckon anyway.

The band’s music is cold, dirty, independent and deeply atheist. They agree on that, but French black metallers Sordjde tell us there’s more to them than that. “‘We seem raw, they tell us, but only apparently raw, but the careful listeners will realise we can play our instruments with high skill.”

Although their motto is “Ni nom ni drapeau” (sort of “no names, no flags“) and they prefer to let the music speak for itself without excess of presentations, Sordide line-up features musicians active in the metal underground for more than a decade (in bands like Ataraxie, Mhönos, Hyadningar, Void Paradigm…).

Nehluj: guitars&vocals;
Nekurat: bass&vocals;
Nemri: drums&vocals.

After being first noticed gig supporting Canadian doom act Cauchemar in Paris, Sordide will hit the road, with gigs booked in Lille (FR), Nottingham and Eastbourne (UK) plus an extensive tour in their motherland France and Belgium.
