American melodic speed / true heavy metal warriors VANLADE have announced the “Rockers of the Underworld” US tour with co-headliners SEAX and HESSIAN, as well as their upcoming release of their new covers EP “Wayward Sons: Masters of Time Vol. I”.
Vanlade vocalist Brett Blackout has checked in with the following comment:
“We’ve been toiling away in the Vänlade dungeon for months, but at long
last we have some exciting news for you! This October, we will not only
be hitting the road with metal maniacs Seax and Hessian for a two-week death march to California and back that we have dubbed the “Rockers of the Underworld Tour,” but we will also be dropping a steaming hot new EP loaded with rocking covers. The phenomenal Frost and Fire festival has invited us to bring our mid-western steel to the fray, and we decided we just couldn’t come back to our friends on the west coast without some fresh thunder! Thus, we present “Wayward Sons: Masters of Time Vol I,” featuring six of our all-time favorite songs re-spun with that hard-hitting Vänlade punch you know and love. This is our chance to finally introduce our new drummer/singer, Nolan Weber, as well as unleash a couple of guest spots from two of the best musicians in the scene – Tyler Loney (Spellcaster) and James J. LaRue (White Wizzard, ex-Holy Grail, ex-Vindicator)! Enough said. Catch us in your city this October and pick up a copy!”
