Following the high-voltage impact of “Electrifyed”, the TYGERS OF PAN TANG return with “Forevermore”, a track that continues to showcase the band’s ability to fuse classic NWOBHM roots with vivid storytelling and renewed creative fire on the way to the British band’s upcoming album.

Built on a soaring, riff-driven foundation and infused with a strong sense of atmosphere, “Forevermore” leans into a more cinematic and emotional dimension, without ever losing the grit and urgency that define the Tygers’ signature sound and will be the backbone of the September new record “Electrifyed”. It’s a song that feels both immediate and expansive, balancing melodic weight with a sense of timeless motion.

Lyrically, the track draws from a deeply personal and imaginative place. As singer Jack Meille explains: “My father loved sci-fi and he used to take me to watch old movies at the only open cinema in town during summer in the ’70s… When Robb sent the demo of the song he said he was inspired by the vision of a spaceman lost in another time dimension; I took it from there and wrote the lyrics, but I should give credit to my father too for this“.

That blend of nostalgia, science fiction imagery and emotional reflection gives “Forevermore” a distinctive narrative depth, setting it apart as one of the more evocative moments in the band’s recent output.

On the title itself, Robb Weir adds a characteristically direct perspective: “When we say, “Forevermore” we mean the feeling as you can’t guarantee the longevity of it. However when the Tygers say, ‘”Forevermore”, we sing it with feeling and we absolutely guarantee you will have it… for… ever… more“!

With its strong melodic core, atmospheric edge and unmistakable Tygers attitude, “Forevermore” stands as both a continuation and an expansion of the band’s renewed creative momentum – proving once again that few bands from the NWOBHM era still sound this vital, this focused, and this alive.
