“‘No Trust’ encapsulates the current mood of the British working classes; having been lied to, cheated and had their needs ignored by a governing body who seemingly exist only to serve themselves and their peers,” explains Tom. “It is a biting response to being disregarded and forced into a position of struggle whilst working as hard as possible to make ends meet. All whilst the wealth of the elite increases to almost boundless ends.”

Having been tipped by Huw Stephens on Radio 1 as ‘Ones To Watch 2020’ following a raucous live session at the renowned Maida Vale Studios, the band have since released their debut album Everything’s Affected which reached #9 in the Official UK Rock & Metal Album Chart amongst other charting success. They’ve played an array of sold out live shows across the U.K. and have recently toured Europe supporting Finnish rock royalty Poets of The Fall.

The bands anthemic sound and high-powered live show has seen them play some of the U.K.’s most prestigious festivals including Isle of Wight, Camden Rocks and Truck Festival. As the band go from strength to strength, it’s no surprise they’re picking up new fans everywhere they go and continue to build their unstoppable momentum. With sold out tour dates up and down the country earlier this year, including their debut London headline show and their biggest hometown show to date at Cambridge’s J2, it’s no surprise Tom Lumley & The Brave Liaison have been tipped by Radio 1, BBC Introducing and This Feeling for big things.

Catch them on the road at the following shows:
18th Nov – London, The Black Heart
19th Nov – Nottingham, Chameleon
Band members:
Tom Lumley – vocals / guitars
Jake Day – guitars
Billy Stewart – bass
Jonny Thompson – drums
