Following on from Donnie’s picks earlier, the countdown continues with Andy picking the 20 gigs to remember in 2016

Always a tough thing to do I start off this year’s best of’s with the gigs I most enjoyed in 2016.

As many of you might know, Maximum Volume Music began – under a different name – as a gig reviews blog back in 2011 and it is probably still the thing I enjoy doing the most.

This year I went to 109 gigs and I enjoyed 106 of them. The three I didn’t aren’t in this list, but these 20 are.

I should also add that the number one is one my top ten gigs of all time.
