After two decades as a band and more than twelve years spent relentlessly touring the globe, THE VINTAGE CARAVAN are getting ready to hit the road for what will likely be their last extensive tour for the foreseeable future.
Kicking off in Lisbon on October 31, the Icelandic trio will embark on an 18-date run through Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, wrapping up with a newly added second show in Düsseldorf on November 18. With the first Düsseldorf date already sold out, the upcoming run gives fans across Europe another chance to experience THE VINTAGE CARAVAN live before the band takes a well-deserved step back from extensive touring.
The band comments:
“Our last tour? No, probably not, but we want to do a great tour and visit our friends in Portugal, Spain, France, The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, because it might be our last for a while.
Hopefully we’ll see you at one of the shows. We really appreciate your love over the years and we love you! Touring has always been a huge part of our lives, doing close to 100 shows per year for 12 years. Very high highs, low lows — we have pushed ourselves over the edge in the past and we felt we were getting close again. We want to keep on playing for our fans, but we need to enjoy it and not risk breaking ourselves mentally. With that said, we are doing a tour in November, but it will likely be our last for a while.
It’s not easy making this decision. The band has been the biggest and one of the most important things in our lives for 20 years.
We will continue to play shows in Iceland, but it will likely not be anything too crazy.
We appreciate your love and hope to see you on our upcoming tour!❤️”

Formed in Iceland in 2006, THE VINTAGE CARAVAN have grown from teenage friends playing together into one of the most distinctive bands to emerge from the modern European classic, psychedelic and progressive rock scene. Their international breakthrough came with Voyage, which received a worldwide re-release through Nuclear Blast in 2014, followed by Arrival (2015) and Gateways (2018). Since joining Napalm Records, the trio have continued their rise with Monuments (2021) – which reached #21 on the German album charts – and their sixth studio album, Portals (2025).
Over the years, THE VINTAGE CARAVAN have built their reputation just as much on stage as on record. Their high-energy live performances have taken them to some of the world’s most renowned rock and metal festivals, including Wacken Open Air, Roadburn and Hellfest, while extensive international touring – both as headliners and alongside artists such as Opeth – has made the band a fixture of the European live circuit.
Now, after years spent playing close to 100 shows annually and pushing themselves to their limits, THE VINTAGE CARAVAN are choosing to slow down, not to close the book on the band, but to make sure there are still plenty of pages left to write.
