New album and tour for hard rock torch bearers
The Treatment; the critically acclaimed British hard rock band are set to release their studio album, Generation Me, worldwide on Friday 18th March 2016.
A 14-date Nationwide UK Tour will follow on Wednesday 27th April, when the band kick things off at Norwich Waterfront, with their final UK show at London’s O2 Academy Islington on Friday 13th May. Tickets for all 14 shows go on sale at 10am on Monday 25th January. Special guest on all UK concerts is The Amorettes.
Released by Frontiers Music SRL, the highly anticipated third album will be the Treatment’s first to feature new lead singer Mitchel Emms and new guitarist Tao Grey.
The first single taken from the album is Let It Begin.
“We can’t tell you how excited we are to finally unleash Generation Me on the rock community,” says the Treatment’s new guitarist Tao Grey. “We feel that this is by far our strongest album, and we are absolutely stoked about playing these songs live on our upcoming UK tour in April/May.”
Formed in Cambridge in 2008, word of mouth of the Treatment’s Generation Me album points to a triumphant return-to-form, celebrating a raft of spectacular big sounding rock songs bursting with hi-octane rock energy.
Produced by Laurie Mansworth, mixed by Tony Newton and mastered by Ade Emsley,Generation Me is the follow up to 2014’s Running With The Dogs album. It’s a hands-down, mind-blowing rock extravaganza that will leave rock fans wanting more than what they bargained for.
Ever since The Treatment first arrived in 2011 with their debut album, This Might Hurt, they’ve played numerous festivals including Sonisphere, Download and most recently,Steelhouse, and toured extensively with Alice Cooper, Steel Panther, Kiss, Motley Crue, Slash, and W.A.S.P.
