THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT RETURN!

Published:

The Temperance Movement formed between Glasgow and London in 2011. Their early years were a rocket ride. Following a Best New Band Award from Classic Rock magazine in 2013, their first two albums, 2013’s self-titled debut album and its follow-up, 2016’s White Bear both smashed into the UK Top 20. After a turbulent few years battling line-up changes and addiction, they pulled together once again to make their third studio album ‘A Deeper Cut’ – released in 2018 and peaking at number 6 in the UK album charts. Their explosive live shows earned them support slots with The Rolling Stones and Deep Purple, and sell out shows across Europe and the US, until the band went on hiatus in 2019. 2025 sees them healed, invigorated and ready to return for a tour of intimate venues in the UK and Europe. For these shows the band – Phil Campbell (vocals), Paul Sayer (Guitar), Nick Fyffe (Bass) and Simon Lea (drums) – are rejoined by original member Luke Potashnick on guitar.
