Brutal sludge album just released
Hailing from Leeds and formed from former members of Tree of Sores, The Day Man Lost, Suffering Mind and many more, Groak already find themselves making an impact in a scene populated with some of the best bands the UK has to offer right now.
With a sound that has thrown the rulebook out as far as blurring the lines between Doom, sludge and powerviolence, Groak have found themselves sharing the stage with an eclectic array of bands that range from Hang the Bastard and EyehateGod to the likes of Famine, CloudRat and Doom.
Following a digital release in September 2015, Groaks debut “Masticator” Ep has already been getting the recognition it deserves, featuring recently in Terrorizer, and it’s with much joy we have been able to release it on physical format via a limited run of 50-cassettes. Not satisfied with just the one release, Groak have found themselves releasing a split with Lugubrious Children, out now via Mind Ripper Collective, Rad Nauseam and Hackebeil Records.
