Hi-octane neon-clad sensations The Hot Damn! have dropped new track ‘Automatic’ along with a galactic new video.
Recently partnered with Echelon Talent and now are ready to blast their way around the UK with a headline tour this November, the news comes hot on the heels of the recent announcement of the band’s debut album ‘Dancing on the Milky Way’, released Friday 27th September 2024 via Fat Earth Records.
Speaking of the new track, singer-guitarist Gill Montgomery proclaims:

“Automatic is a bit of a different vibe for us… just when you thought you had us pegged as either very angry or far too happy… we’ve had another mood swing and so here we are with a big fat slice of grit and determination, sprinkled with glitter and chaser of cowbell for good measure. I think it’s one of our most relatable songs yet – basically a stern pep talk to yourself – when you’re in a funk but desperate to get back to best… We’ve all been there!”

Based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, The Hot Damn! burst on to the UK circuit in 2021. Formed from ashes of bands The Amorettes and Tequila Mockingbyrd, the band boasts the talents of Gill Montgomery (The Amorettes), Josie O’Toole (Tequila Mockingbyrd), Laurie Buchanan (Aaron Buchanan and the Cult Classics) and Lzi Hayes (New Device/Sophie Lloyd band).
The Hot Damn! have completed multiple UK tours supporting the likes of Fozzy and Hayseed Dixie as well as appearing at Steelhouse, Maid of Stone, Planet Rockstock and Stonedead festivals and are set to make their European debut in September.
Riding high on the airwaves, their catchy choruses are to be found on A-list rotation on stations such as Planet Rock, Kerrang! and Primordial radio in the UK and Radio BOB in Germany. Latest single ‘Jukebox on the Radio’ scored a coveted Classic Rock ‘Track of The Week’ nomination as well as being selected by the legendary Johnnie Walker for inclusion on his BBC Radio 2 Rock Show.
