The infamous astral doom lords from Melbourne, Hybrid Nightmares, are back and thirsty for blood after their two sold out Melbourne shows and three successful CD launches for The Ages I, II and III. The metal quintet are gearing up to end The Ages cycle with the release ofThe Fourth Age on October 20, 2015.
As the final part in The Ages saga, The Fourth Age takes place in a decimated universe, corrupted by mankind, where tyrants battle for what is left and the end is drawing near. The Fourth Age presents Hybrid Nightmares at their most aggressive, encapsulating the anger, hatred and chaos that is the end of the universe.
The Ages was recorded and mixed by Ben Plant (Apollo Studios) and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios (Enslaved, Paradise Lost, Kreator) and will be accompanied by a full UV light and costumed stage show at all live appearances in 2015 that is sure to offend, surprise and entertain.
Hybrid Nightmares were the highest voted band nationally in the Cradle of Filth openers competition, have shared the stage with Australian metal royalty (Psycroptic, Ne’Obliviscaris, Be’lakor) and recently supported Enslaved (Norway), Beyond Creation(Cananda) and Gloryhammer (UK) on their recent Australian tours.
Hybrid Nightmares will be supporting The Fourth Age release with a launch show at The Prince Bandroom on November 14 with support from Melbourne metal heavyweights Naberus, Decimatus, Stormtide, Trigger and Behold The Defiant.
