We may not be sitting in a camping chair, cracking open the first can at Y Not Festival this weekend, but we won’t let you go a summer without the unmissable Y Not experience! Running Friday 24th & Saturday 25th July, Y Not at Home is the HUGE virtual version of the biggest indie festival in the North! From 6pm on Friday and 3pm on Saturday, you’ll be treated to exclusive performances, fitness classes, skits, artist takeovers, hilarious quizzes, book reads and much more.
Fans across the country have signed up for Y Not party packs. We encourage you to get into the festival spirit from home and watch in real time – just as you would for our usual festival! The virtual event will be live streamed for free on Y Not Festival’s Facebook Live page, Visit Y Not Festival’s Facebook, Twitter & Y Not website for full Y Not At Home schedule updates.
We have some of Y Not’s finest former acts taking to the virtual stage this weekend – including punk pop legends Ash indie lads The Sherlocks and UK rockers The Amazons. More live music will also be available to stream, including Lauren Hibberd, King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys, The Hara, Jaws, Patawawa, Beans on Toast, PABST and Wild Front.
Also appearing will be the workout legend Mr Motivator, who will have fans moving at home during his unmissable online fitness class – just as he does for our usual weekend in the Peak District! Plus you can even take part in interactive karaoke with Shaun Williamson AKA Barry from Eastenders.
Raised by Owls are also set to present a hilarious home quiz alongside a bespoke film about how to make your own festival experience at home! Alongside the rest of the weekend entertainment, rap royalty Eve will deliver a special message to the Y Notters in style!
