Special, intimate show in aid of wonderful charity
BLACK STONE CHERRY are set to play a special intimate, underplay show ahead of their 8-date UK arena tour this month, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Kentucky-based band will play The Borderline on 24th January. Tickets cost just £15 and all funds raised will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust, who do much needed work with the many young people with cancer all over the UK.
Guitarist Ben Wells says, “We are thrilled to be starting 2016 with the Carnival Of Madness in the UK, but what’s even cooler is that we’re kicking that tour off with a very special show at The Borderline! It’s gonna be so cool to go back to a small place and get low down nasty and sweaty with a room packed full of BSC fans! We are excited to say the show will also benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust charity, which is such an incredible organization! The UK has given us so much, it’s time we return the favour.”
Jen Walker, Music Industry Developer at Teenage Cancer Trust, comments: “We are hugely excited to be involved with BLACK STONE CHERRY’s gig at The Borderline. Their support will help us to provide the best treatment, care and support for the seven young people who are diagnosed with cancer every day.”
BLACK STONE CHERRY’s new album, ‘Kentucky’, their first for new label, the Mascot Label Group, is set for a 1st April release, so expect to hear a few new tunes at this special gig! If you miss out on Borderline tickets, fear not! Limited tickets are still available for their headline slot on the Carnival of Madness tour. Dates below:
