Link Tree: Tax The Heat

On Nov 14th 2025, Tax The Heat released the track ‘Celebrate Imitate’ with no warning and no mention of a return; the track has piqued interest from fans and media alike, leaving audiences asking ‘What’s next?

‘Celebrate Imitate’ marks the beginning of the band’s exciting new chapter and is part of a new collection of songs titled ‘The Inconceivable Truth’.

‘The Inconceivable Truth’ is the band’s third record. An album that almost never came to be. Where members of the band have suffered huge personal losses and life-changing events, the only way forward has been to create. The past six years have seen the band rebuild themselves to find a new way forward. With over two albums’ worth of material left on the cutting room floor, ‘The Inconceivable Truth’ is the band at their best. They teamed up with Ian Davenport (Band of Skulls, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Demob Happy, Gaz Coombes) to capture their new sound, live and loud at NAM Studios in Wiltshire. A studio that has a huge amount of history and significance to the band.

The album will be released one song at a time over the course of a year. We are thrilled to invite you along for the journey.

Friday 9th January 2026 sees the release of the first official single titled Love Is All (Link Tree: Tax The Heatfor links to video & audio).

THE BEGINNING:

Formed in 2012 in Bristol, UK, Tax The Heat have been delivering a hard-hitting blend of rock, blues, and grit since day one. With a proven track record of critical acclaim and an ever-growing fanbase.

A BAND BORN FOR THE STAGE:

Since their formation, Tax The Heat have established themselves as one of the UK’s most electrifying live acts. Their debut EP, released in 2013, was produced by Chris Goss (Queens of the Stone Age) and engineered by Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood). The release set the stage for a whirlwind career, which included standout performances at major UK festivals and high-profile tours with arena-level acts.

In 2015, Tax The Heat signed to Nuclear Blast Entertainment, where A&R Monte Connor saw their potential to make waves on the global stage. In April 2016, the band released their debut album, Fed To The Lions. The album was met with critical acclaim, cementing their place in the rock scene. In addition to headlining their own UK tours, they ventured around mainland Europe for the first time, gaining a very committed fanbase.

CONTINUED SUCCESS, CRITICAL ACCLAIM & HIATUS:

March 2018 saw the release of their sophomore album, Change Your Position. The band supported the album with a sold-out UK tour, further cementing their reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting rock acts. After an extremely successful album campaign, including support slots with bands such as Royal Republic, The Coral & Mott the Hoople, the band simply fell silent. No mention of a hiatus. Just silence. Until now.

Now, as they prepare to release their highly anticipated new album in 2026, Tax The Heat are ready to take their sound and stage presence to the next level. With a relentless work ethic and an international fanbase, the band is primed to continue their ascent, bringing their electrifying rock to even greater audiences around the world.

Stay tuned for more details on the upcoming album release and tour dates in 2026.
