Proggers stream new song

Greek prog metal band Tardive Dyskensia are proud to announce their new album Harmonic Confusion, due for release on September 09 via PlayFalse Records.

In conjunction with the announcement, the band have released a track from the album. First premiered by HeavyBlogIsHeavy, who said “This stuff is really cool… This album is going to be a banger for sure”; you can now stream ‘Thread of Life’ here:

Thread of Life’ is a tantalising insight into Tardive Dyskensia‘s new album. Prog and technical metal combine in an enthralling and unique manner, perfectly capturing the band’s unique position on the threshold of West and East, old and new. For fans of Meshuggah, The Oceanand Intronaut, the album is variously aggressive, atmospheric, groovy, melodic, technical and also minimal.

Having returned from a smashing set at this year’s UK Tech-Metal Fest, the band have previously played alongside giants Mastodon, Meshuggah, as well as playing Europe’s premier prog-metal festival, Euroblast. Boasting fans in Jocham Jacobs (ex Textures) Kelly Shaefer (Atheist) and George Kollias (Nile), the new album looks set to cement Tardive Dyskensia‘s status as one of Greece’s leading underground lights.
