Berlin-based international psych/powerpop duo The Strange Encounters have unveiled a new video as a taster for their debut album.
A 4.5-minute masterwork of shimmering psych-pop, ‘Recognize’ is an impressive hint at what’s in store on the album All In The Mind, which is already out in the EU but not released in the UK ’til 7 June – thanks Brexit!
Comprising Guido Kreutzmüller of Berlin legends The Say Highs, and transplanted Glaswegian Joe Amstrong, whose CV includes stints with Nikki Sudden and Dave Kusworth, the pair came together in 2018 and began assembling their debut over Covid Lockdown with the help of producer Thomas Wosnitza.
Released through Ports Of Call Music, All In The Mind is sure to find favour with fans of GospelBeach, The Posies, Cotton Mather, etc…
