Wounds Deeper Than Time, the new & long-awaited studio album from US death metal titans Morta Skuld is out now on Peaceville Records (March 17th US), and to mark the occasion, a  new lyric video for the pulverising ‘In Judgement’ track has been unveiled.

Mainman David Gregor says of the message behind the track:“Basically we are all judged on a daily basis, by our peers and our friends and family. And also at the same it says don’t judge a book by its cover and don’t let things lead to us judging someone on their look or how they act.”

Currently receiving high praise for its ferocious dose of expertly crafted savagery, Wounds Deeper Than Time presents Morta Skuld’s finely honed mix of power and brutality with a foot firmly planted in the old school. A pummelling union of twisted melody and crushing riffs, Wounds Deeper than Time was recorded, mixed and mastered at Mercenary studios by Scott Creekmore (Putrid Pile, Broken Hope, No Zodiac, Waco Jesus, Bloodline, Lividity) & produced by the band themselves. Cover art comes courtesy of Patrick Kachellek, who created the cover for the band’s comeback EP, Serving Two Masters in 2014. Joining longstanding member and founder David Gregor (Guitar/vocals) is Scott Willecke (Guitar), AJ Lewandowski (bass) & Eric House (drums).

‘Wounds Deeper Than Time’ is out now on CD, LP (including download code) & digitally.
