In the wake of their debut album amassing over 5 Million streams, The Georgia Thunderbolts are back to electrify audiences with their brand new single, “Gonna Shine.” This latest track is just a glimpse into what’s in store with their upcoming studio album slated for release next year. Drawing listeners into a realm where Southern Rock’s legacy is celebrated and pushed to new frontiers, the song was released alongside a music video directed by Jim Arbogast.

Hailing from Rome, Georgia, at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, The Georgia Thunderbolts have blazed a trail for a new generation of classic southern rock enthusiasts. Their sound, deeply rooted in soulful southern swagger, blistering blues, and raw rock, is reminiscent of the iconic rock ‘n’ roll legends that influenced their musical journey. Their debut album, as well as their new album, recorded at the iconic Barrick Recording Studio in Glasgow, KY, is a testament to their dedication, passion, and commitment to rock ‘n’ roll. Over the past few years, The Georgia Thunderbolts have carried their spirit of rock ‘n’ roll across numerous stages, performing alongside rock luminaries such as Black Stone Cherry joining them in the US and mainland Europe, The Marshall Tucker BandThe Outlaws, and Ace Frehley as well as country powerhouses The Cadillac Three, The Steel Woods and Southall. With their roots firmly planted in the southern tradition, Rolling Stone declared that The Georgia Thunderbolts are “Proof that “Southern Rock continues to thrive in the 21st century.”
