Brighton-based duo Royal Blood continue their charge through 2026 with the release of explosive new single ‘Dead Company’, out today via Warner Records.  An official video will follow shortly.  ‘Dead Company’ was Jack Saunders ‘Hottest Record’ on Radio 1 this evening.

‘Dead Company’ sets the tone for Royal Blood’s forthcoming self-produced album with its huge hooks and full-throttle sound.  For frontman Mike Kerr, the song captures the transformative power of music: “It’s amazing what it can do to your body, to your mind” he adds.  “You can change your entire perception and mood just from a song”.

The band have had a big year so far, announcing their new album in August before selling out a small run of intimate UK shows and making a surprise appearance at Reading Festival. They also recently joined Zane Lowe on his Apple Music show and were special guests on the newly launched SNL UK.  They kick off October with an appearance on Later… with Jools Holland and some just announced album release shows the following month.

Royal Blood will return to the road in November for a UK tour, with Unpeople and Xcerts joining them as special guests on selected dates.

Since they first emerged 12 years ago, when they released one of the fastest-selling rock debuts of the century, Royal Blood have made one hell of an impact.  Each of their four albums has hit Number One in the UK,  with the band shifting over 1 million records, becoming an arena-filling, festival-headlining tour de force, and forerunners of the guitar rock revival we’re seeing today.

‘Dead Company’, which is out 6th November, marks a powerful new chapter for the duo, who last released an album in 2023.  Following a period away from the spotlight, Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher entered the studio in 2025 with no deadline, no distractions and a simple ambition: to see what was possible with two people, 12 notes and infinite outcomes.   The new album strips everything back to its core.  Immediate and uncompromising, it captures Royal Blood at their most powerful.
