Rob Jones & The Restless Dream, a Manchester-based musical collective, is excited to announce their latest single ‘Cut So Deep,’ out July 21st. This heartfelt track is the second single from upcoming EP ‘Trees,’ slated for release this August.
‘Cut So Deep’ is a profound exploration of love and loss, inspired by a very personal heartbreak. Set against a cinematic musical backdrop featuring rich piano tones, warm drum sounds, and dramatic strings, the track delves into the experience of losing love and the slow pain of emotional healing.
Following the success of their debut EP ‘Castles’ in 2022, the collective, comprising Alan Taylor on drums, Josh Cavanagh-Brierley on bass guitar, Danny Wellens on keys, and Dan Catherall on lead guitar, showcases their ability to blend introspective lyrics with memorable melodies. ‘Cut So Deep’ exhibits a notable evolution in both Rob’s writing and the band’s distinctive Americana sound.
