London based blues rock guitarist Jack J Hutchinson is pleased to announce the release of his new single and video ‘Call Of The Wild‘. This is the opening single from his hotly anticipated new album ‘The Hammer Falls‘ which is due for release in 2022.
The track is available on limited edition split red and black 7″ vinyl and digital, exclusively through Eyesore Merch, who recently released exclusives by Blackberry Smoke, Mason Hill and Wayward Sons.
The heavily guitar driven single is the first release from Hutchinson’s forthcoming solo album which was recorded at Momentum Studios, Devon and mixed by Josiah J Manning (Inglorious, Kris Barras Band, Moriaty, Wille and The Bandits) with mastering by the Grammy award winning Stardelta (Noel Gallagher).
Jack comments on the darkly tinged song, “The track was written in the winter of 2020 as the country went back into lockdown. It is a reflection on dual personalities, and how the events of the last year have forced us to confront our inner selves. It suggests some of us may not like what we have found, and this battle with our inner demons is as real as the external ones.“
Born in Leicester, Hutchinson spent his formative years in Burnley in the north west before moving to London to be an artist and musician. He has successfully toured internationally, including shows in Brazil, Spain, Russia, France, Germany. He has also played various high profile festivals, including Planet Rock Rockstock, BluesFest at the O2 alongside Bad Company and Ramblin’ Man Fair, where he shared the bill with ZZ Top, Rival Sons and Blackberry Smoke. Support slots have included opening for Monster Truck and Kris Barras Band. Hutchinson will return to the road later this year playing 17 dates across the UK. Main support on the tour comes from Devon based modern rockers, Firekind. Tickets: www.jackjhutchinsonmusic.com
