Earlier this week Jazmin Bean announced their highly anticipated debut album ‘Traumatic Livelihood’, out February 2024. Today the digital pre-order will go live alongside the new single and official video for ‘Terrified’, via Island Records/Interscope. WatchHERE
Over the past few years Jazmin Bean has amassed a staggering 600 Million combined global following across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Spotify. They have firmly established themselves at the forefront of the new wave of artists emerging that are not defined by genre or style.
New single ‘Terrified’, the third release from their debut album, pays homage to nineties rock guitars and swooning strings. Emotionally laden, it is a towering ballad that neatly sums up the anxiety of falling deeply in love – but fearing the ending.
Jazmin describes the track as their “first content love song”. They explain: “It’s terrifying to write about love as someone who’s grown up with extreme behaviours in relationships that would always send me on an emotional rush. “The lyrics explain the anxiety of a relationship having no end point and thinking, ‘Oh my god, this might work out.’ I wanted to capture that feeling that I’m finally safe.”
Today’s announcement comes in the midst of their sold-out UK tour, see dates below, followed by a winter US tour.
Jazmin Bean continues on their trajectory to achieve global success and establish themselves as one of the most important young artists to make their mark on music.
