Today, doom metallers Patriarchs in Black reveal the new single “Spoiler Alert.” The song is the second single taken from the upcoming studio album To Serve Man, out on January 8th, 2027 via Metalville. The official video for “Spoiler Alert” be seen and heard HERE at Metalville‘s official YouTube channel.
Dan Lorenzo explains: “‘Spoiler Alert’ was a song that was waiting to be sung by a different singer originally. I’m not known for my patience, and after eight to nine months, time was running out. I gave it to Joe Ferrara ( from The Andretti), and to my shock, Joe came up with the lyrics and melody AND sang it less than 24 hours! I was blown away, and I’m super happy with how it came out. I sent an advance mix to Jason McMaster, and Jason said, ‘This guy Joe rules. Where did he come from? He’s amazing!'”
Former Type O Negative/Danzig drummer Johnny Kelly and guitarist & riff writer Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction) formed Patriarchs in Black at the end of 2021.
