Today, The Dirty Nil, who have embraced, torn down, and reinvented the quintessential “rock n roll star” archetype, have released the video for their punk-infused power-pop ballad, ‘Blunt Force Concussion.’ The video shows off the group’s irreverent style (think Midsommar meets Blink-182) as they put their own spin on being one with nature.
Of the video, frontman Luke Bentham said “for once, we tried to make a video without the risk of death or maiming. No explosions, no fire, just flowers and good vibes. However, the heavens declared against us and I was almost killed by an allergic reaction to a horse. My head ballooned up like a goddamn melon and my skin felt like fire. Moral of the story is: wherever we go, chaos rides shotgun.”
‘Blunt Force Concussion’ is the latest cut off the JUNO-winning trio’s forthcoming album, ‘Fuck Art’, out January 1st, 2021 via Dine Alone Records (pre-orders are now live HERE).
