Dennis Greaves and Mark Feltham, the founding members of Nine Below Zero, started
making music and playing live together in South East London back in 1977. Celebrating 50 years
of creating and playing some of the finest UK Rhythm n Blues, Nine Below Zero are embarking
on a bespoke European Tour in 2027, with very special guests joining them on stage, including
iconic Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, fast-rising Zac Schulze, incredible blues pianist Ben
Waters, legendary guitarist Robbie McIntosh and long-standing co-performers Dr Feelgood.
Alongside the full band UK dates, Nine Below Zero will also perform a run of shows in Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain and Scandinavia and are managing to squeeze in a short run of intimate acoustic shows including two supporting the Fabulous Thunderbirds to make 2027 a truly Golden year for the band.
Nine Below Zero released their classic debut LP ‘Live at the Marquee‘ in 1980, the band kept the momentum going with ‘Don’t Point Your Finger’ in 1981 before releasing their third LP on A&M Records, ‘Third Degree‘ (1982) with the front cover image shot by legendary photographer, David Bailey. Since 1988 they have released a further 20 LP’s in an incredible career and Mark Feltham has also been selected as harmonica-player by a whole host of acts including Oasis, Annie Lennox, Talk Talk and Rory Gallagher.
Nine Below Zero toured with The Who and The Kinks in 1980 / 81 and also appeared on ‘The Old Grey Whistle Test’, ‘The South Bank Show‘ and perhaps most memorably, a cameo performance on the cult comedy ‘The Young Ones’.
