Dennis Greaves and Mark Feltham, the founding members of Nine Below Zero, started making music and playing live together in South East London back in 1977. Celebrating 50 years of creating and playing some of the finest UK Rhythm n Blues, Nine Below Zero are embarking on a bespoke European Tour in 2027 including some bespoke, stripped-back acoustic shows featuring Dennis and Mark performing a longer set including conversation and songs from their extensive back-catalogue.
Nine Below Zero released their classic debut LP Live at the Marquee in 1980, the band kept the momentum going with Don’t Point Your Finger in 1981 before releasing their third LP on A&M Records, Third Degree (1982) with the front cover image shot by legendary photographer, David Bailey. Since 1988 they have released a further 20 LP’s in an incredible career and Mark Feltham has also been selected as harmonica-player by a whole host of acts including Oasis, Annie Lennox, Talk Talk and Rory Gallagher.
Nine Below Zero toured with The Who and The Kinks in 1980 / 81 and also appeared on The Old Grey Whistle Test, The South Bank Show and perhaps most memorably, a cameo performance on the cult comedy The Young Ones.
They will take the show to intimate venues in Greenwich, Leamington Spa, Glasgow and Wrexham. The tour also includes two dates in May 2027 supporting The Fabulous Thunderbirds at Union Chapel in London to make 2027 a truly Golden year for the band.
