| Today, NYC-bred rockers NICOTINE DOLLS released new single & music video ‘Gimme Sympathy‘, a fuzzed-out burst of swagger from their self-titled sophomore album, out this Friday 23rd October via BMG. Co-produced by frontman Sam Cieri and renowned hitmaker Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne), NICOTINE DOLLS pairs blown-out guitars, pummelling rhythms and electrifying vocals with fearless songwriting, capturing the explosive chemistry between Cieri, guitarist John Newsome and drummer Abel Tabares. On the inspiration behind ‘Gimme Sympathy’, Sam Cieri says: “It’s about the people in your life who only know how to take, with no accountability or desire to return the favour. They are the leeches we let suck us dry, disguised as important relationships. Then, we wrap it all in chaos.” The song follows the release of the cathartic lead single ‘Enemy‘ & Desmond Child-co-write ‘Here to California‘.Listen to ‘Gimme Sympathy’ here Watch the music video here |
