That’s right folks, unlike the tabloid newspapers this headline doesn’t lie. Maximum Volume will be interviewing two legends of rock history.
First up with be the man who was the main inspiration for artists such as Alice Cooper, Bruce Dickinson, Peter Gabriel, Kiss, Marilyn Manson and countless others. Of course, it’s ARTHUR BROWN. The ‘God of Hellfire’ himself will be sitting down with Donnie to discuss his career to date and his brilliant latest album Zim Zam Zim.
Now normally that would be more than enough for Maximum Volume but we will also have the pleasure of chatting to the mighty HAWKWIND. Probably one of the only bands that can rival Arthur Brown in the inspiration stakes.
For over 40 years the Space Rockin’ giants have left a cosmic trail of riffs and sci-fi infused rock that has influenced generations of rockers young and old.
Once the interviews have been completed Donnie will have the pleasure of watching those two behemoths strut their stuff on stage at Rock City, Nottingham. Naturally, as you would expect from MV, a review of the gig will follow soon after.
